We carefully select our staff members based on their ability to care and empathise. Many of our team members have been part of the workforce for a decade or more demonstrating their commitment and passion for caring.
Brightside Manor has been carefully designed to promote a homely atmosphere. The tastefully decorated home has been designed to cater to the needs of those with dementia.
This includes carefully selected colour schemes and decor to reduce agitation and promote orientation.
THE ATMOSPHERE
The relaxed flexible atmosphere at Brightside Manor means you can spend your day as you wish. Whether you wish to participate in our exciting activities schedule, spend your day reading or watching TV in our light and airy lounges or enjoy a chat and a cup of tea in the garden’s gazebo; there is something for everyone. We aim to help you live a fulfilling, comfortable life and to enable you to feel like a valued member of the community.
We believe our relaxed, unique caring service has an ideal setting in Rumney, situated on the outskirts of the city and is easy to reach by car and public transport. Our residents can enjoy panoramic mountain views whilst being a stone’s throw away from local amenities of Rumney Village, and only a few minutes away from the city centre. Tastefully decorated Brightside Manor in its own grounds offers a “home from home” atmosphere in a close knit community.

We are more than happy with Brightside manor, it took us a while to find the suitable placement for my relative which we felt comfortable with. We find the staff very accommodating and they look after our relative very well. The care home and staff are “Absolute lovely”. We have peace of mind knowing that our relative is being looked after. My relative was previously living in an assisted living complex which was not suitable for her needs. Since she has come to Brightside Manor the care she has received is second to none and we can be at ease knowing she is receiving the care that she needs.
