Brightside Manor offers both residential and specialist dementia care. In addition to the high-quality person-centred care offered in the main care home, Brightside manor now offers enhanced dementia care for those requiring higher levels of care in our state-of-the-art Enhanced Care unit- a 5-bedroom unit connected to the main care home.

We are able to offer long-term residential, respite and dementia care based upon meaningful relationships within a ‘home from home’ setting. We are also able to cater to couples in order to ensure relationships continue to flourish. The modest size of the care home allows our team of dedicated carers to offer care that centres around the individual, placing our resident’s needs, preferences and choices at the forefront.

We are able to do this by conducting in-depth life history interviews ensuring our care staff are able to form bonds with residents creating a family atmosphere. Brightside Manor adopts the ethos of ensuring dignity and respect through maintaining and promoting independence as far as possible.
